Taco Bell superfans received great news on Friday, when the fast-Mexican eatery announced plans to open a resort hotel in Palm Springs. The hotel, called The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort, will follow a strict Taco Bell theme that will allow any fast food fan to dive deep into their once-impossible taco daydreams.
The resort will open its doors in August. The “tacoasis” will only be open for a limited time. That’s right, the Taco Bell resort is coming, but it’s not here to stay. Those who want to spend an unforgettable stay at the hotel must be ready to book a room quickly.
So what exactly can fans of the Taco Bell brand expect from their one-of-a-kind vacation? Taco Bell’s Chief Global Brand Officer, Marisa Thalberg explained the vibe The Bell will host. “The Bell stands to be the biggest expression of the Taco Bell lifestyle to date. It will be fun, colorful, flavorful and filled with more than what our fans might expect,” she said in the brand’s press release on Friday. “Also, just like some of our most sought-after food innovation, this hotel brings something entirely new for lucky fans to experience and enjoy.”
The Bell will host a variety of entertainment options, all with a “Taco Bell twist.” From poolside drinks inspired by the chain–yes, there will be hot sauce rafts in the pool–to Taco Bell-inspired nail art and hair designs, there will be no shortage of entertainment for adult guests.
It’s important to note, children will not be allowed at the Taco Bell resort. The exclusive stay is only open to hotel patrons over the age of 18.
The first available day to book a room at The Bell is August 9. Reservations for the unique experience will open in June. Those who wish to attend the limited hotel can sign up for the reservations newsletter here.
Taco Bell has long been experimental with its brand expansions, and has hosted ideas and merchandise far outside of its culinary domain. They’ve experimented with fashion in a unique collaboration with Forever 21, and has even started to host weddings at their Cantina location in Las Vegas, a Taco Bell extension which serves alcohol and more food options. Taco Bell Cantina locations can be found across America.
