Sage Northcutt’s ONE Championship debut ended in bitter disappointment as the former UFC fighter was knocked out in the opening round.
Northcutt’s opening fight was against Brazilian striker Cosmo Alexandre in a welterweight bout and a brutal right hand was enough to send him hurtling towards the canvas and defeat.

The 23-year-old made waves in the UFC after an impressive win streak as well as his remarkable athleticism. In his youth, he won 77 world championships in karate. His opponent is a decorated kickboxer who now boasts a 8-1 in MMA.
It is just the latest big ONE signing to lose to a veteran after signing as Eddie Alvarez suffered a similar fate recently.
