  • BJP is now leading on 13 Assembly seats.

  • Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein is leading against his nearest rival Khunang Kri of the Congress in Chowkham constituency, Namsai district.

  • BJP is now leading in 13 Vidhan Sabha seats, while its rival JD(S) is leading in two Assembly constituencies, according to the data available on Election Commission’s website.

  • BJP is increasing its lead on two more Vidhan Sabha seats. The party is now leading on 12 seats. Janata Dal (United) is leading in one seat, while Independent candidates are leading on two seats in the state.

  • Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently taking the lead in the two Lok Sabha constituencies of Arunachal Pradesh, as per the initial trends of the Election Commission.
    Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju is leading by 30,548 votes in Arunachal West against his nearest rival Nabam Tuki of the Congress.
    In the Arunachal East seat, Tapir Gao of the BJP is leading by 13,477 votes against his nearest rival Lowangcha Wanglat of the Congress.

  • According to the Election Commission of India, BJP is leading in 10 seats, while Congress and Janata Dal (United) are leading in one seat each.

  • BJP is leading in 13 Assembly seats. The National People’s Party is now leading in one seat.

  • BJP is leading in 12 Assembly seats. NPP, Congress and Others have not recorded any lead yet.

    A day ahead of vote counting, the Arunachal Pradesh unit of National People’s Party (NPP) urged the state and the central governments to apprehend the insurgents behind the killing of MLA Tirong Aboh and 10 others.
    Suspected NSCN militants on May 21 gunned down Aboh, also an NPP assembly poll candidate, and 10 others, including his son and two security personnel, in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh. (PTI)

    In 2014, the Congress had emerged victorious after winning 42 seats. The BJP came second with 11 seats. The People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) managed to win five seats while two Independents also won.
